About Me

Tinkerer, Critial Thinker, Team Player

Software Developer

I'm a college football player turned boat mechanic turned software developer. My love for building and repairing has transitioned from nuts and bolts to languages and databases. My journey started at the University of Maryland when I decided to walk-on to my home-state football team and do whatever I could to get on the field. I was able to carve out a role for myself during my second year on the team by getting extra work after practice, religiously studying the playbook, and putting in extra reps. I believe I can transfer that same mentality to any team I find myself on in the future!

I decided to take the risk and make the switch to software engineering. So I plunged head-first into a full-time bootcamp and I don't think I could have made a better decision. I've loved every moment of creating, colaborating, and debugging from the start. Now, I'm committed to improving upon my previously learned skills and learning new ones as I go.
